Discovery PICO Series by Quanta System is a picosecond laser platform for tattoo removal, pigmented lesions, scars and skin rejuvenation. With PicoBoost Technology delivering up to 1.8 GW of peak power, three wavelengths and up to six emission modes, it fragments ink and pigment more finely than conventional Q-switched lasers and allows treatments on all skin types with fewer sessions. The new VarioPulse Technology® adds three selectable pico-pulses so the operator can personalise every treatment.

Wavelengths

• Nd:YAG 1064 nm — dark pigment and tattoos, deep dermal targets, safe on darker skin
• FD Nd:YAG 532 nm — red, orange and yellow inks, superficial pigmented lesions
• Ruby 694 nm — green and blue inks, resistant pigmented lesions

Emission modes (up to 6)

• PS — Picosecond: the most powerful, pure photo-acoustic effect for fragmenting ink and pigment
• QS — Q-Switched nanosecond: for larger, deeper particles
• OP — OptiPulse: long nanosecond pulse, more photo-thermal
• PT — PhotoThermal microsecond: thermal diffusion for inflammatory acne and onychomycosis
• VarioPulse: three pico-pulses to choose from, for the exclusive Pico Tune-Ink, Pico Filling and Pico Plasma treatments
